I wish to take part in the Michelmores Charity Run 2023 and I accept the Michelmores Charity Run - Terms.

The Michelmores Charity Run - Terms

• Terms of Entry

I wish to take part in the Michelmores Charity Run 2023.  I understand I take part entirely at my own risk and I confirm I feel fit and able to undertake the demands of the race.  I will not undertake the race if I feel unfit or receive medical advice not to participate.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by the Michelmores’ negligence, I accept that Michelmores will not be responsible for accident, injury, damage, action, claim or expenses which may arise in consequence of participation in this event however caused.

• Refunds and Cancellations

I understand that no refund can be given if the event is cancelled due to circumstances outside Michelmores’ control, or I am unable to compete for any reason. If we need to cancel you will be informed by email.

• Amendments to route

I accept that the route may need to be amended if unforeseen circumstances arise that make it either impossible or unsafe to use the advertised route.

• COVID-19 Policy

I agree to the Michelmores COVID-19 Policy set out here.

• Photography
  • I understand that there will be photography at the event and I grant permission for Michelmores LLP to use photographs, video clips, quotes, or any other record of my participation in The Michelmores Charity Run for the purpose of marketing future events online and on print materials.
• • I understand if I do not wish my photograph to be made publicly available and/or used for marketing future events and on print materials, I should inform Michelmores at events@michelmores.com.  While Michelmores will use all reasonable endeavours to comply with any such notice of withdrawal of permission for the future, materials in public circulation at the date may be difficult or impossible to withdraw.
• Use of my personal details

I understand that, subject to the points below, the Michelmores LLP Privacy Policy will apply to my personal data that will be collected when I apply and participate in the race.

I also understand that my personal data will be used solely for the purposes of the running of the race and reporting the result.  The legal basis for this use is Michelmores’ contract to provide the race.  Michelmores will be using three specialist sub-processors of personal data as follows.

• • City Runs will act as the race organiser and registration provider for this event. City Runs will manage all aspects of the race, including key tasks, such as managing entries, mapping out the route, conducting a health and safety assessment, managing road closures, setting out marshal plans.
  • Raceahead will be the timing and fulfilment services company. Personal data is required to fulfil race packs and manage timing chips, so that all runners can receive their results and partake in the run.
  • I understand that the appropriate information will be made available to the medical provider (St Johns Ambulance) at the event only for health and safety purposes.
