well organised and good fun, great atmosphere!
Using a cafe for the race pack pick up point this year made the race village feel better and more organised.

Another fantastic Michelmores 5K!!!
Great atmosphere & well organised!
It was great being able to come to collect the race packs in advance thank you!
Brilliant, as always
Very well organised event, lots of atmosphere and lovely flat route for those that aren't generally runners.
Flat but crowded in first kms
The first km is so narrow that you get stuck behind people and can't get past... less than ideal. The course is also always a touch short which is rather frustrating. It was on target up until km 4 and was then slightly short meaning the end was slightly short. It just needs the start or finish line moving slightly and the problem would be solved. Good atmosphere and it was really handy to be able to collect our team's t-shirts etc beforehand this year.
An annual tradition
I love this race, it is very friendly and is a nice flat route. The t-shirts are brilliant too, really comfy (I always look forward to my annual t-shirt addition!).

Great fun for a worthy cause
Great experience for beginners or returning runners
This is my first running event in over 3 years. The course was fun to run on and a great entry into returning to running with 95% of the course being flat with a couple of inclines. What also made this more welcoming for runners of all abilities is that there were 5 groups based on what your predicted time is for a 5km run making it easier for the faster runners to not be held up and for the slower runners to not feel pressured in blocking those around them.

Fast fun race a long the beautiful Exe valley raising money for charity.
Fantastic Route and Event
There's been a few different (good) routes for the Michelmores 5K but this one is the best. A fantastic and well organised upbeat event with great scenery that changes depending on where you are on the course. The marshals are really supportive, Chris Bentley is awesome on the comms and the portaloos are a very welcome addition given the Quay's limited offerings.
As a beginner, I appreciated the "wave" sectioning and did not feel overwhelmed and jostling with runners more experienced than myself s
I did not feel there was enough space for the warm up session and am not sure how to get around that dilemma. I deeply appreciated every marshall from Collection point to Bag Drop to every bell rung, whistle blown and verbal encouragement. Thank you to all the unsung heroes who performed countless tasks months and months in advance leading up to the event, on the day and the "mop up" now taking place.

Fun!
Great set up for a great cause

Great race for all levels
Our only improvement could be that for the group warm up, if you are at the back you couldn't see what the lady leading it was doing so we just ended up doing our own one. But the support around the route is fantastic!
